For the second year running, Buick was ranked highest in dealer service satisfaction in the J.D. Power U.S. Customer Service Index (CSI), among 19 other mass-market automotive brands. GMC came in fourth on the list.
The study measures service satisfaction among owners and lessees of one- to five-year-old vehicles in the United States by focusing on five service areas, including quality, initiation, advisor, facility, and vehicle pick-up (in order of importance).
Buick was ranked first with 836 points out of a possible 1,000 while GMC was ranked fourth with 807 points. Between them were MINI and Volkswagen. They ranked significantly higher than the mass-market brand average, and Buick even scored higher than three luxury brands.
“Superior reliability, quality and customer service is core to every model we bring to market,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick. “Leading the market in service satisfaction demonstrates that we and our dealers continue to deliver on that commitment.”
