Dealing with car insurance just became easier thanks to a recent update from General Motors. A simplified digital insurance service — which emphasizes your good driving record and habits — is the latest update to the automaker’s OnStar® offerings after a new smartphone app and additional fleet management solutions.
OnStar Insurance from GM is facilitated by its newest agency, OnStar Insurance Services. Its digital platform allows you to shop for OnStar Insurance at your convenience, with representatives available to answer your queries.
Rewarded for good behavior
OnStar Insurance from GM focuses on consistent driving habits, allowing for an unbiased shopping experience. Through OnStar Insurance, you will receive tips on how to be a better, safer driver. Discounts on insurance are possible if you demonstrate safer habits behind the wheel.
In the event of an accident, you will have access to help via the Automatic Crash Response system, activated when you push the OnStar button in your vehicle. An OnStar Emergency-certified Advisor will be contacted, who can direct first responders your way. You will need both OnStar Insurance and the OnStar Safety & Security plan to benefit from collision assistance.
Originally offered to GM employees in Arizona last year, OnStar Insurance from GM is now available to the public. To learn more about the plan, contact Rivard Buick GMC in Tampa, Florida.
