The New GMC Campaign Reaches a New Level of Skill

GMCThe brand new GMC campaign is turning its focus toward a new skill in accuracy: Precision. By definition, precision is the quality, condition, or fact of being exact. The Precision campaign will showcase the refined detail it takes to build GMC cars and trucks, while relating it to the skill and expertise of sports and well-made suits.

The campaign will be launched as a three part series. The first TV commercial, “Fastball,” will feature World Series Champion and San Francisco Giants pitcher, Jeremy Affeldt. The commercial correlates throwing a “Rembrandt” (painting the corner of the plate with a strike) and creating a beautiful car as taking the same kind of precision and craftsman ship.

The second commercial, “Swish,” features Harrison Barnes of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors making the perfect shot, nothing but net. And finally, the third commercial, “Sharp,” displays the skill it takes to create the perfect suit.

Each commercial plays upon the theme that precision is a pertinent skill when creating something that is, in fact, exact or precise.
