According to Arts Tampa Bay, this is one of the most popular art museums in the area. It features modern and contemporary art, as well as a collection of Roman classics. Located in downtown Tampa, this museum was first opened in 1979. With a newly redesigned award-winning building, you’re bound to fall in love with the Tampa Museum of Art.

Want to catch a show? The Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts and the Tampa Theater are great places to see music, cinema, and drama.  As a complex of five theaters, the Straz Jr. Center has over 650,000 patrons per year. The Tampa Theater is smaller, but it is also listed as a historic landmark. With a classic movie-theater feel, you can still see Hollywood classics on the big screen.

Finally, bring the whole family to the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts and the International Film Fest. With tons of art on display at the Festival of the Arts, you can see artists from around the world show off their craft.
